SPORTZING lands in Mauritius
| "Arguably
Australia's largest tennis playing market now has direct physical access
to Sportzing's products and services," says Sportzing's General Manager
Mark Xavier. "It has been along time coming, but finding the right
person for the job was necessary to ensure our long-term growth strategy
that is aimed at protecting our reputation for quality and relationship
based services. Scott Carlile (Victorian State Manager) will provide Sportzing's
benefits to every customer in the market," he says. |

| The Sportzing and Tennis Court & Sports Field Builder's Association of Australasia 2001 conference was held on the Gold Coast from 27-29 July. The conference covered professional and social issues and was beneficial to all. Sportzing held its national conference concurrently. It was agreed by all that the conference was very successful for the Association and Sportzing. All Sportzing attendees found the activities enjoyable and useful for updating general knowledge on industry progress. |

Sportzing has added another country and company to its list of international customers. The Island Nation of Mauritius is located just east of Africa in the tropics of the Indian Ocean. It is well know as a tourist destination for South Africans and those Europeans escaping the Northern winter. As with many such destinations tourists enjoy the benefits of sports surfaces. |
|
Marine & Tar Products Co Ltd is a business owned
and operated by Michel Halbwachs. Located in Pailles, Marine & Tar supply
and install SFAG and acrylic sports surfaces throughout Mauritius.
The desire to offer services to existing and future
customers motivated Marine & Tar to seek an effective maintenance
system. The package, based on Zingthing-Club, was delivered and set up
by Keith Ewald (Sportzing - Training Manager) in early March. Training
then commenced on the Island. |

| Fortunately, it was not all work. Keith and wife Cindy were generously welcomed by the Halbwachs hospitality and the warm tropical surrounds. |
Not a bad place to stay.

Good
Show at the Snow
Skiathon
2000
was held at Queenstown, New Zealand this year and
was voted extremely
enjoyable by all attendees. Despite better snow in Australia,
New Zealand's sunshine, beauty and rugby proved to be very rewarding.
